| FBI Gang Sting Ends In Arrest |

A Greenfield resident arrested during a SWAT operation early Monday was the target of an ongoing FBI gang probe, officers said. Agents from several agencies, including Monterey County Gang Task Force and SWAT officers, had Leo "Spanky" Garza under surveillance before they served a search warrant on his Larson Lane residence. As FBI agents and officers entered the house, Garza ran out the back with an AK-47 before he was arrested, a sheriff's official said. Officers, who used a stun gun on Garza before he was detained, said they seized drugs and one other firearm from the house. Read More. |
