| County Completes Sex Offender Registry |

LITTLE FALLS - The Morrison County Sheriff's Department and city police departments in the county recently completed predatory offender registry verifications for all offenders living within Morrison County, Sheriff Michel Wetzel reported in a news release. A total of 109 individuals living within Morrison County are listed on the predatory offender registry. Each adult offender who has been sentenced to prison after 1991 is assigned a risk level based upon assessments conducted by the Minnesota Department of Corrections according to their likelihood to re-offend. Level I offenders are considered least likely to re-offend, while Level III offenders are considered most likely. Of the 109 verification checks completed, officers found only one offender to be noncompliant for having failed to register.
