| Corrections Officer, Son Dead After Gun Attack |

Miami, FL, United States (AHN) - A South Florida corrections officer and her 2-year-old son are dead after someone shot up their home Tuesday morning. Police are searching for the shooter, who allegedly fired about 200 rounds into the home. According to investigators, just after 1 a.m. someone began firing a gun into the Miami home where six people were inside. The home was riddled with bullets. Neighbors said it sounded like a war zone during the shooting. Police believe the gun used was a high powered semiautomatic rifle. Ciara Lee, 24, a state corrections officer, and her 2-year-old son, Devon Franklin, died at the scene, Miami police said. Tony Lee, 49, suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to the hospital where he is listed as being in stable condition. The three other people in the house were not harmed. Read More. |
