| Bristol’s Rui Diniz Promoted to Captain |

CRANSTON, R.I. – December 14, 2010 – Corrections Director Ashbel T. Wall II has announced the promotion of Rui Diniz of Bristol, a 19-year veteran of the Department, to Correctional Officer Captain, effective December 12, 2010. Captain Diniz is assigned to Minimum Security. He has also worked at Maximum Security and Women’s during his career. At a brief badge pinning ceremony attended by Corrections officials on Friday, December 10th, Director Wall noted, “We would not make these decisions if we were not absolutely confident about your ability to assume command.” |
