A Spokane County Sheriff's Deputy patrol car was hit by a wanted suspect during a pursuit in north Spokane County Tuesday night. Around 5 p.m., Deputy Jeff Shover was patrolling an area along the 4900 block of Deer Park-Milan Road when he noticed a white pickup pull out of a driveway. The deputy thought the driver was a wanted suspect and attempted to pull him over. The truck then sped off, leading the officer on a high speed chase along Milan-Elk Road and then on to Eloika Road. The truck then rammed the deputy's patrol car, disabling it. The deputy was not injured, and the suspect left the scene in the truck heading north on Valley Road. Read More. |
