Timothy John Baudour pled guilty to escape from custody, based on a plea agreement, on Dec. 7 before Judge Daniel Chadwick. He was one of three inmates who escaped from the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail on Oct. 24. The sentence assessment report was waived, and his penalty was assessed at confinement in the Department of Corrections for four years. Travis W. Evans and Nicholas Dale McCleary had previously pled guilty to attempted escape from confinement and damage to jail property. They were each sentenced to four years on each count, sentences to run concurrently. These charges stem from an escape attempt at the regional jail on June 30. McCleary was also one of the inmates who escaped from the regional jail on Oct. 24, triggering an intense manhunt. The fugitives were captured on Oct. 26 a few miles northwest of Pattonsburg. Travis Evans was also involved in the Oct. 24 escape, and is charged with three counts of aiding escape of prisoner confined for felony. Read More. |
