Seattle, WA – Mark Ericks, United States Marshal for the Western District of Washington, announces the arrest of Olujimi A. Blakeney. The subject was wanted for the shooting death of Lisa Melancon in Tacoma, Washington on July 22, 2010. Following the murder of Ms. Melancon, an intense investigation led to the identification of three suspects. Blakeney was the last of three suspects arrested and charged with murder in this case. Marshals Service personnel in the Northern District of California arrested Blakeney at an apartment complex in Carmichael, California earlier this afternoon.
