The elves at the North Pole may have to watch out, because they’ve got some competition in Washington County. It’s certainly from an unlikely source—a group of inmates at the Caryville Work Camp. For the past few years, a handful of inmates have volunteered for assignment to the woodworking shop, where they work year-round making toys for abused and neglected children. “I would have never thought this would be an interest for me, before I came here,” said inmate Joshua Whitehurst.
