GUAM - A program within the Department of Corrections is being investigated for possible mishandling of funds. Guam police served a search warrant at the Department of Corrections processing center this morning. News Watch spotted officers with the Corruption Task Force taking photos and gathering sales receipts from the sale of produce and/or from the sale of products belonging to DOC inmates. Acting DOC Director Antone Aguon said the search has to do with the prison's pilot program. "The program allows inmates to make products which are sold," he said. Read More. |
