| Santa Visits Children With Parents In Jail |

Even Santa Claus cannot always save Christmas for children who have a parent in jail. But New Revival Kingdom Church in Capitol Heights was stuffed Dec. 14 with sacks of donated toys ready to be delivered to children who have a parent incarcerated at Prince George's County Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro. The distribution, which began Dec. 14 and will reach the children Saturday, on Christmas morning, was part of Project Warm Heart, which jail Chaplain James Penn started in 1990 as a spinoff of the department's participation in the annual Toys for Tots campaign. This year's Warm Heart drive involved more than 60 local churches and will provide toys to more than 400 children, Penn said.
