Inmate Assaults Officer, Facing New Charges

An inmate at the Okaloosa County Department of Corrections is facing an additional charge after she bit a corrections officer.

Amber R. O’Harrow, 26, was being restrained by two corrections officers for being “disruptive and combative” at the time of the incident, according to an incident report from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.

As one of the officers held her, O’Harrow bit the officer's left middle finger, the report stated.
