Former DOC Employee To Head Hospital

New Hampshire Hospital has hired Bob MacLeod as its chief executive officer. MacLeod has worked for the state Department of Corrections since 2002, where he was in charge of all medical and mental health care for state inmates.

He will start work at the state psychiatric hospital Jan. 10.

"We believe that Bob has a vision and has a leadership capacity to ensure that the hospital works in partnership with community providers . . . and can reaffirm a number of external relationships, both with private hospitals as well as critical care hospitals and community mental health centers," said Associate Health and Human Services Commissioner Nancy Rollins.
