| Utah Jail Gets New Director |

BURLEY — A new director at the Mini-Cassia jail took his post this week, replacing former Director Rob Neiwert. Cassia County Sheriff Randy Kidd said Neiwert resigned from the position at the Mini-Cassia Criminal Justice Center on Dec. 10. “Rob decided to a take an opportunity in private industry,” Kidd said. “I was happy with Rob’s work and we were sad to see him leave.” Neiwert took the post about two years ago when he replaced Dennis Dexter. Kidd said Darwin Johnson, 46, was hired as director after he had already accepted a position as jailer at the jail in Burley. He started as director on Monday. Read More. |
