PEWEE VALLEY, Ky. — A minimum-security inmate who walked away from a Kentucky women's prison has been caught. Jamie Strang of the Kentucky Department of Corrections says 38-year-old Laura Chase was caught at 12:40 p.m. CDT Sunday in Munfordville. Chase was reported missing from Kentucky Correctional Institution for Women in Peewee Valley at 2:55 a.m. Saturday. Chase was in the Hart County Jail on Sunday. Read More. |
