CANON CITY, Colo. - A prisoner killed by another inmate at the Colorado Territorial Correctional Facility died of blunt trauma to the head. The Pueblo Chieftain reports that an autopsy by the Fremont County coroner revealed that 34-year-old James Schneider received multiple skull fractures and cerebral hemorrhaging. The Colorado Department of Corrections says Schneider was killed by another inmate, but the suspected killer has not been named. Read More. |
