Investigators say a Palatka man is "a person of interest" in the October disappearance of a St. Augustine Shores woman. Rebecca Ann Ware was last seen leaving her job on Oct. 29, 2010. Her boyfriend, 40-year-old Timothy Johnson of Palatka, has been questioned by St. Johns County detectives and is considered "a person of interest" in the case, sheriff's office spokesman Kevin Kelshaw said Wednesday. Johnson, who has served prison time for attempted murder, has not been charged in connection with the Ware case, Kelshaw said. "Foul play is suspected because of the circumstances," Kelshaw said in a telephone interview. Read More. |
