| DOC Employees In Trouble Remain Nameless |

MERCER, Pa. (AP) _ A Department of Corrections spokeswoman says one supervisor has been fired and 10 have been disciplined for abusing leave time at a prison in northwestern Pennsylvania. The corrections department announced hearings last month for 13 supervisors at the State Regional Correctional Facility in Mercer and one supervisor who used to work there but is now at a state prison in Pittsburgh. On Friday, spokeswoman Susan Bensinger says officials won't be naming those disciplined, because the investigation involves confidential personnel issues. Bensinger says one other supervisor was cleared of wrongdoing, one retired and one has yet to be questioned. Read More. |
