Sex charges filed Wednesday against a Fayette County jail corrections officer stemmed from complaints from a female inmate that the officer exposed himself to her. The jail issued a release Wednesday, saying Kevin Michael Lawson, 26, was charged with second-degree sexual abuse and indecent exposure. But the release did not provide any details about the allegations. According to an arrest warrant filed in Fayette District Court, Lawson was on duty when he was filmed on jail surveillance video following the inmate into a bathroom, where they remained for about five minutes.
