| Prison Doctor Not Who He Seemed |

The Fayetteville man who impersonated a doctor at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center was caught in Tennessee last month and is behind bars in a Nashville prison hospital. Daniel Ray Stewart, 25, was arrested Dec. 6 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville on a parole violation warrant, said Melissa McDonald, spokeswoman for the Tennessee Board of Probation and Parole. McDonald said Vanderbilt officials called the police after Stewart entered the emergency room and acted strangely. Stewart had been arrested in Fayetteville a month earlier on two misdemeanor counts of impersonating a doctor in a Cape Fear Valley ambulance. Read More. |
