Thomas Holloway (Camera file)BROOMFIELD -- A man who killed his stepfather as part of a violent rampage in Boulder and Broomfield counties in June has been sentenced to 72 years in prison for second-degree murder and first-degree burglary. Thomas Holloway, 53, of Boulder, pleaded guilty late last week to the charges as part of a plea agreement. Broomfield District Court Judge F. Michael Goodbee sentenced him to 48 years in prison for second-degree murder and 24 years for burglary. The sentences will be served consecutively at the Colorado Department of Corrections, according to a 17th Judicial District statement.
