Amy Rogers Jones, as a result of her conviction in the Dodge County Superior Court in November 2009, was ordered to report on January 5, 2010 to begin her sentence. In Georgia, the sheriff’s office of each county and the Clerk of the Superior Court’s office are required to fill out what is commonly called a “Custodial Report” for the Georgia Department of Corrections (DOC). This report is what the DOC uses to pay the various Georgia counties for housing state inmates and also bases the length of incarceration of inmates.
