| Suicidal Inmate Released From Hospital |

A female inmate at Calhoun County Jail was transported to the hospital for stitches after cutting her wrists today. Misty Arrington, 29, of Big Creek, was released from the hospital and then picked up by Mississippi Department of Corrections. According to Sheriff Billy Mac Gore, Arrington took apart a jail-issued razor and made cuts on both wrists. She was transported by ambulance to Calhoun Health Services in Calhoun City. Read More. |
