| Iowa Parolee Wanted For Attempted Murder |

Fort Dodge authorities are searching for Deron Foy, 18, 1319 Eighth Ave. S., who is facing several charges, including attempted murder. Foy posted a $25,000 surety bond in April, and has been on pretrial release with supervision by the Iowa Department of Corrections ever since for allegedly trying to shoot a man in the Pleasant Valley neighborhood. Almost a year later, he has picked up another charge of possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and interference with official acts. He posted the respective $5,000 surety bond and $300 cash bond he needed to be released Tuesday prior to his initial appearance in Webster County Magistrate Court. But Foy failed to show up for court that morning, and two warrants have been issued for his arrest as a result. Along with the Magistrate Court warrant for failure to appear on the marijuana charge, a bench warrant from Webster County District Court was issued Tuesday for violating the terms of his pretrial release on the attempted murder case.
