Extremely dangerous inmate escapes |

A kidnapping suspect considered extremely dangerous escaped from a Los Angeles County jail Wednesday, according to the sheriff's department. Richard Alman Chiamulon, 34, escaped from the Century Regional Detention Facility at 11705 S. Alameda St. in Lynwood at 10:30 a.m., Deputy Steve Suzuki said. He was working in the jail's laundry area, Suzuki said. Chiamulon was described as a male Asian, with black hair, brown eyes, is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 195 pounds, Suzuki said. Chiamulon was arrested in Torrance on May 22 on suspicion of kidnapping during a carjacking. |
