| KY DOC To Handle Immigration At High Cost |

(Frankfort, Ky.) - Kentucky lawmakers debated a controversial immigration bill which opponents say makes Arizona’s law pale in comparison Wednesday. State Senator John Schickel (R-Union) is sponsoring Senate Bill 6 which would allow police to charge illegal immigrants with trespassing. Law enforcement would also be able to inquire about a person’s immigration status. The bill has already passed the Republican-controlled Senate.
