| Tip Helps Nab Career Criminal, Fugitive |

BILOXI -- Police arrested a fugitive with an extensive criminal history after a confidential source reported he recognized Jeffrey Lloyd Holcomb from pictures of South Mississippi’s most-wanted criminal suspects, Det. Steve Schlicht said. Holcomb’s picture was published June 27 in the Sun Herald’s “most wanted” series. Surveillance cameras at Stor-All-Er in Biloxi had taken pictures of a man identified as Holcomb and his blue pickup truck in the May 4 burglaries of storage units at the Pass Road business. The pictures showed a man with bolt cutters removing a lock and putting a generator in the bed of a blue Chevrolet truck. Holcomb also was wanted on burglary charges in Jackson County and Gautier, where police said they had recovered his truck during a search for stolen property. Read More. |
