A woman serving time for a negligent homicide in Ravalli County claims she's being discriminated against because the Montana Women's Prison won't serve her kosher food. But Montana's News Station has learned it's not the first time Shelly Tischler has made such claims. Two years ago, Tischler had a lengthy legal fight with the state claiming she was "mistreated and discriminated" because she's Jewish. That was case was ultimately dismissed with U.S. Magistrate Judge Carolyn Ostby deciding she had failed to "exhaust administrative remedies" by using the prison's own system for handling complains.
