| Multiple Arrests In Drug Busts |

The Shasta Interagency Narcotics Task Force arrested 16 people during a three-day drug bust in Shasta County. Task force agents served a search warrant Tuesday at 19307 Niles Lane East in the Churn Creek Bottom area. Redding police, Shasta County Sheriff’s Department and state Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation personnel assisted in the search. A search yielded 7 grams of methamphetamine, 3.2 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 7.8 pounds of marijuana, scales, packaging material, $1,496 cash, a stolen chainsaw and stolen Toyota pickup, said the task force commander, John Thulin. Agents saw one of the residents throwing a glass pipe and vial containing methamphetamine out a bedroom window.
