| Former Prisoner Attacks Church Van |

GASTONIA, N.C. -- A Gastonia man is accused of smashing a church van with an ax. Justin Kirkland told police he left the van parked at his fianceeās home on East 9th Avenue Saturday night. A neighbor came at him with the axe and even held it to his throat, he said. Police identified the alleged attacker as Kenneth Glaze, Jr. Kirkland, a youth worker at Freewill Baptist Church, said he was not afraid during the ordeal. Read More. |
