FARMINGTON — A Wilton man pleaded guilty Tuesday to assaulting two Farmington police officers last year. Timothy M. Harvell, 43, pleaded guilty in Franklin County Superior Court to two felony counts of assault on an officer. As part of a plea agreement, the state dismissed a lesser assault charge, and two charges of refusing to submit to arrest or detention/refusing to stop. Justice Michaela Murphy set sentencing for Aug. 19. If the case had gone to trial, witnesses would have testified that Farmington police responded to a report of a fight on Temple Road in June 2010, Assistant District Attorney James Andrews said.
