| Prison Guards Injured On The Job |

GRAFTON — Two corrections officers were hurt and an inmate has been placed in an isolation cell following an incident this morning at Grafton Correctional Institution. One corrections officer was treated and returned to work and the other is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to Carlo LoParo, communications director for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections. Rescue squads were responding to the facility about 6 a.m., according to scanner traffic. LoParo said the situation is being investigated and the facility is under control. Read More. |
