An officer at the Clinton County, Penn. prison has been suspended without pay after an escape last weekend.
According to the warden, the officer was in the recreation yard when the inmate squeezed under a fence and took off. Other inmates created a distraction during the break. James Shumac, 26, was later found walking along Route 447, about 15 miles from the jail.
Shumac is back in the Clinton County jail and faces escape charges.
