Suspect In Urn Theft Almost Gets Away |

Sheriff’s deputies missed one chance to retrieve an urn that contained the ashes of a Black Forest widower’s wife in mid-January. Last week, one of the men suspected of stealing that urn nearly slipped away, too. Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department arrested Sergio Rivera, 31, on Tuesday morning, a little more than a week after a mix-up led to his release from a southern California jail. “We’re still trying to sort through where the paper work error was,” said Lt.
