| Lockdown Continues At County Jail |

Swatara Township, Dauphin County — The Dauphin County Prison entered its 4th day of a lockdown Thursday evening. The lockdown went into effect just before 6:30 Monday evening after a fight broke out between several inmates inside the prison gym. All seven inmates suffered minor injuries. One Corrections Officer was injured enough to require medical attention. Officers were able to secure the gymnasium and restore order. Two weapons were recovered during a search of the prison. Inmates will remain in their cells and visitations are restricted during the lockdown. Read More. |
