| Jail Project Finance Numbers Announced |

Although the bid information wasn't released previously, at the request of Lyon County, Sletten Construction of Nevada, the Construction Manager At-Risk on the Lyon County Jail/Justice complex project, recently released the bid figures for the site preparation work done late last year. County Manager Jeff Page, speaking during a jail project update at the Feb. 17 Lyon County Commission meeting, also reported that officials from Sletten and Clemons Rutherford and Associates, the architect on the project, would be in the county on Feb. 23-25 to have numerous meetings with county officials and tenants of the planned new facility to finalize the design drawings for the project. Page said after that, a more firm schedule of the project would be available. Page related that the site preparation work for the new facility in Yerington was done as a separate limited Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) project, saying that Sletten had requested the bid information be kept confidential so this bid wouldn't adversely affect the later full construction bid, where dirt work would also be involved.
