BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) —

Gov. Bobby Jindal’s administration now is seeking to sell three state prisons to alleviate budget gaps, adding an Avoyelles Parish prison to the sale list that had already included facilities in Winn and Allen parishes. Lawmakers would have to agree to the sales, which could generate up to $90 million or more.
