Six men involved in a sexual assault at Greene County Jail in Pennsylvania eight months ago pleaded guilty and were sentenced last Tuesday by Judge H. Terry Grimes. Late Nov. 16 or early Nov. 17, a gang of inmates beat up two other inmates in the jail's E block, held them to the floor of the bathroom and sexually assaulted the men with a toothbrush. The two victims and five of the six assailants are from Butler County and were placed in jail because of overcrowding in their home lockup. Greene County Jail frequently accepts prisoners from other counties that pay the local prison a fee for the service. |
