ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Police say a man went on a robbery spree Monday, and brought his 5-year-old son along with him.

Police finally stopped him, when an officer spotted the getaway car. But officers say before they got to him, James Tindell robbed a Mobil gas station and 2 Kangaroo stations, in northwest Orange County.

Apopka police say the father took his son to rob the stores. Detectives say the suspect used a box cutter to rob the clerks and the boy was in the car the whole time.

30-year-old James Tindell is accused of robbing 3 different convenience stores while his 5-year-old son was in the back seat.
