Police believe revenge may have been the motivation behind last month's deadly shooting in Fountain Creek Park. New details revealed in the arrest affidavit of Devin Downey, 19, suggest that Downey and William Baros, 18, shot and killed Pedro Solis-Astorga, 45, after Solis-Astorga allegedly tried to sexually assault Downey. According to the affidavit, Baros then killed himself after the shooting. Solis-Astorga's body was found the morning of Feb. 12 after dispatchers received a call of a man on the ground, bleeding from a stab wound. Read More. |
