DELANO, Calif. -- The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said a man escaped from the Kern Valley State Prison Tuesday. Around 11:45 a.m., inmate Miguel Jaime Jr., 23, was reported missing. An emergency count was called and at 12:15 p.m. it was confirmed that Jaime had escaped.
