State Employee Gets Probation For Embezzlement |

A Pine River man convicted of embezzling $100,000 from Fond du Lac taxpayers over a period of at least three years will not spend time in prison. Fond du Lac County Circuit Court Judge Peter Grimm on Monday ordered Jonathan D. Lippert, 31, to serve five years on probation with one year of conditional jail time, including work-release privileges on counts of theft from a business setting greater than $10,000, two counts of misconduct in public office and conspiracy to commit fraudulent writings.
