A plan to authorize roadside signs honoring law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty will get its first hearing in the Oregon House on Friday. Albany’s Rep. Andy Olson and Sen. Frank Morse, both Republicans, are the chief sponsors of HB 3039. There are 39 cosponsors. The bill is scheduled for a hearing by the House Transportation and Economic Development Committee at 1 p.m. Friday, March 4, in Hearing Room D at the Capitol in Salem. Read More. |
