A Yavapai County (Ariz.) Jail inmate is facing 24 counts of reckless endangerment after being accused of poisoning fellow prisoners.
Devon Adrian McBride of Cottonwood is accused of lacing iced tea with cleaning solvent at the jail.
Several inmates got sick on May 31, complaining of stomach pains and nausea. All the inmates recovered.
McBride had originally been jailed on charges of theft and trafficking in stolen property.
The motive for the poisonings isn't being disclosed at this time, said Yavapai County sheriff's spokeswoman Susan Quayle.
