MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Officials said a man charged with killing two small-town postal workers during a robbery has been fired from his job as a Tennessee prison guard.

Department of Corrections spokeswoman Dorinda Carter tells The Associated Press that Jennie Jobe, warden at the Lois DeBerry Special Needs Facility in Nashville, sent a letter to Chastain Montgomery Sr. on Wednesday telling him he's fired.
