SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI -- The father of a murdered 5-year-old boy in Rhode Island is furious and made a violent, extreme promise. He said if his son’s killer is made a free man in just a few months he’ll be a “dead man” shortly after that. “He will kill again… He tried to kill me,” said Dale Sherman. Sherman was only 14-years old when Michael Woodmansee wrapped a bandana around his neck in 1982. The attempted murder broke open the cold case of Jason Foreman, the Wakefield 5-year old who vanished in 1975. Woodmansee confessed to the brutal murder and dismemberment of Jason’s body to officer Patrick Strickland. “He wanted to see what it was like to kill someone,” said Strickland. Read More. |
