Chad Dickson allegedly created checks by using a legitimate account and routing numbers along with a paper he obtained in prison, authorities said in a criminal complaint. Prosecutors want to use crimes Dickson is charged with committing at state prisons in Greensburg and Cresson as evidence in an upcoming trial in Luzerne County On March 28, Dickson is scheduled for a trial on eight charges of forgery and two counts of theft by deception for incidents at the State Correctional Institution at Retreat in Hunlock Creek. Dickson and his attorney said prejudice that the evidence from the other prisons would cause against him with a jury outweighs the value of the evidence as proof in the Retreat case. Read More. |
