| CO Parolee Arrested After Drug Discovery |

An Elmhurst man living on parole out of Colorado was allegedly found in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia during a routine check-up Tuesday. Eric Gross, 32, of 475 W. Butterfield Road, Elmhurst, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of hypodermic needles at 1:23 p.m. March 8 at his home, police said. According to the report, Elmhurst police were at the scene to assist an Illinois Department of Corrections parole officer during a routine check-up. They then found drugs and drug paraphernalia.
