A lengthy, joint-agency investigation regarding suspected possession of child pornography culminated yesterday, March 8, 2011, with the service of a search warrant at a residence located in the 1800 block of River Rd., Perris. Investigators and officers from Riverside County’s multi-agency Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE) Task Force were joined by investigators from the Perris Police Department (Riverside County Sheriff’s Perris Station) at the residence when evidence revealing the recent, repeated sexual victimization of a, then, age 10-year-old Perris-area child was discovered there. This victimization was previously unreported and unknown to law enforcement.

Subsequently arrested on felony charges related to the totality of this investigation were William Ward, age 30, and Gregory Noble, age 44, both of Perris. Perris Police investigators have been in contact with the family of the child victim in Advertisement

The SAFE Task Force is a collaboration of multi-disciplined law enforcement agencies including the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Riverside County Probation Department, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, California Department of Justice, and Corona Police Department. Working together in seamless cooperation, SAFE Task Force personnel are focused on reducing incidents of sexual assault countywide by means of comprehensive registered sex offender monitoring and enforcement.
