Killer Tracks Down Classmates On Facebook |

Few people had even heard the term “Internet” when James Robinson went to prison. In 1987, he was sentenced to life plus 30 years in a state correctional institution for the murder of David McBride, a 36-year-old gas station attendant in East Pennsboro Township. Robinson has been in state prison ever since, serving his time at the State Correctional Institution at Graterford. As with all Pennsylvania life sentences, there’s no chance of parole; his release would take a commutation by the governor. But last month, Robinson appeared on Facebook and started sending friend requests to ex-classmates from East Pennsboro Area High School, asking people to write support letters for him.
