JOLIET — Police arrested two people and reportedly seized drugs and a gun during a bust Thursday. Deputy Chief Mike Trafton said narcotics unit and tactical officers executed a search warrant at 1:23 p.m. in a second-floor apartment at 824 Summit St. “Jamal M. Russell, 31, had a .32-caliber revolver, 175 grams of packaged cannabis and 25 grams of packaged cocaine inside,” Trafton said. Police also reportedly seized a digital scale and $345.
